Retreat Experiences

For those wishing a deeper dive into healing, Kate provides custom retreats. These are tailor designed for the individual, couple or family. Retreats are most often 4 – 5 days in length. They offer a collaborative approach to healing if the party is interested in gathering a team for the event. Kate provides services in conjunction with several other local practitioners for a deeper, richer, experience. Pricing is based on services requested in the custom plan.

These comprise of several days with multiple sessions each day. They are tailored to the specific needs of the client. The most common structure is with an arrival Thursday night (if traveling from afar), Friday morning sessions through Monday 4PM / Tuesday noon. These retreats may include other local practitioners for expanded supports, such as bodywork, acupuncture, movement sessions, expanded rituals or ceremony with a circle of support. Pricing is determined based on the number of sessions and purpose of the retreat. Again, each is tailor crafted to meet the individual needs of the client/family.

Retreats for folks who want to immerse themselves in the experience of transformative Awakening. This creates enough sacred space, set apart for the individual or couple to focus on the Integration of the body, mind, spirit (Soul). What does it mean to embody the Self and live from our Grounded Sacred Center? Can we find our true sense of Belonging? The journey involves seeing through new eyes, developing a different kind of listening, a reframing of the story we tell ourselves, a deeper dive into the Interior Relationships within such as our Inner-Child, Inner Mothering or Fathering of our Self.  These archetypal roles serve as a guide in the projective process of “knowing the Self” from the view of the Wakeful Witness. Learning nervous system regulation impacts our emotional and physical balance. Bringing an Embodied Centering Presence to our daily structures enhances our life with ease and peace.

Goals that we explore in a retreat or throughout the coaching/counseling process:

  1. Explore and develop your soul’s sacred journey for creating a meaningful life.
  2. Develop personal responsibility as a vehicle to self-empowerment. When we take personal responsibility, we no longer blame others; we no longer create victimization; and we are able to make lucid decisions about what we want and desire.
  3. Promote an optimistic belief system that life is meaningful and full of unexpected events that lead to soul growth, and that all of life’s experiences have the potential to be life-altering. Discomfort and unhappiness await the transformative awakening of new understanding.
  4. Instill a philosophy that values the soul. Recognize that our soul creates our reactions to life experiences, and that if we have karmic balance, our lives will be free of paranoia, internal conflict, sadness, and fear.
  5. Soul Awakening: Explore the characteristics of an integrated Self; Utilizing ancient stories, symbols & archetypes to develop conscious maturity.

Testimonial

“I looked into doing one of those very fancy retreats on the west coast, but a friend was adamant that I consider a retreat with Kate instead. She had done one and knew how beneficial it would be for me. While I know any of those fancy retreats would have been wonderfully relaxing, a retreat with Kate is on a completely different and elevated level. Every single detail was personalized just for me and the amount of shifting and growth is indescribable. The accommodations are new, private, and well-appointed. She was wonderful about customizing the menu for my challenging food allergies and her cooking is better than most restaurants.”

“For the rebels and the misfits, the black sheep and the outsiders. For the refugees, the orphans, the scapegoats, and the weirdos. For the uprooted, the abandoned, the shunned and invisible ones.”
